EPISODE 1 : THE UFO BOY
PILOT
Episode 1 : The UFO Boy: Recent Books
1.
Warm night of April 2056, in an english countryland. The sky is full of stars, there is no clouds. The light of a lamptorch appears, glancing through the trees. A group of teenagers are running into the woods, chasing something. Two girls, two boys. The boy holding the lamp is running ahead the rest of the group; “Don't stop guys, I've seen it, it's over there !”.
But they're out of breath, tired and breathing loud.
The lamp boy is running away from them, one of the girls shouts to him “Stop we lost it”. But the boy, thickheaded, doesn't answer.
As the boy runs through the woods, he's starting to lose his own tracks. He stops and, looking through the bushes, hear a mechanical noise coming from aside of him. He breathes heavily, turns, and point out his light towards the noise. He doesn't see a thing. The sound keeps being louder and louder, and as the boy fears, a big light raises from under the trees, and flies over them, making them bend. The boy, numb, stand still staring at the light, as it flashes and teleports itself through different directions.
Once the light is gone, the boy goes back to his friends. One of the girls was worried, complaining to him that it's been half an hour that he disappeared. He says “I don't care, I just saw... a big, lighty... soundy... Big bright light !”.
A bit later, walking in a wide meadow, they're arguing about whether or not their friend's story is true. “A big light” was all the boy could describe what he saw, “as big as hell” he even says. The other boy, which by the way has a problem of inferiority, reply “as big as your bullshit”. The arguing keeps going on and on, when finally the main boy stops them while holding them.
The same sound seems to fade in. Then the light appears, high in the sky. Holding their breaths, the teenagers doesn't say a thing. Too scared of wasting that moment that could slip away in a heartbeat. “I told you I saw it” the main boy says, already used, and less amazed, to see his fellow the big bright light. Because now the important thing for him wasn't seeing the light again, but make his friends seeing the light by themselves so that they could believe him. And at last they did.
But of course, they were too stupid and too proud, to make their friend right about something. “It could be a drone” one of the girls says.
The light is moving within miles for a single second, just above their heads, appearing, disappearing, re-appearing, a real show.
The light finally appears really close to them, so they can hear actual engines working on, they start to freak out, but the light, that appears to be an actual flying saucer, crashes onto the group really hard, leaving a trail of dirt and blood behind it.
Once the flying saucer stops moving, the light turns off and the sound fades out.
2.
Next day, University of Sheffield, England. Twelve o'clock, the bell's ringing. Outside the buildings, “Medical School” is written on a big sign, students walk around, all alone or in twos. Some eat, some talk, harmlessly passing their break-time.
Sitting on a wooden bench, Karen; a young woman in the middle of her twenties, brown-dark hair, thin, the appearance of a teenage rebel with jeans and a famous prism on her t-shirt, rests. Eyes closed, a frail smile arise when the wind touches her face. The only moment of loneliness she can get before starting a filled day that already begun.
'Undisturbed calmness, people talking from far away, doing their things without paying attention to me is a good kick in my day', she thinks to herself.
She gets interrupted when a no-one girl comes to her. “Did you get anything about the class?”. Already boring, this girl obstruct Karen's lonesomeness, and she doesn't think a lot about this unknown girl. So she goes with the flow and talk to her with meaningless words; “of course I did ! Why would you ask me ?”. The girl says she can't write the class while listening to the teacher, but obviously implied that she wants Karen's notes.
“I'm having a hard time since the class started. But when I saw you during the class, I knew you were totally into it, all writing and thinking...”. She says in a really dumb way. “No wonder you can't keep up with the class !” Karen replies.
All figured out, Karen gives way to give her own notes to the girl. But says she'll give her copies when she'll have the time, and implied that it's the last time she's helping her. The girl took that for rejection, and storms out.
Karen, almost breath taken, is relived that she's gone. But her peaceful moment has already passed.
She looks at the crowd. And her eyes cross with familiar ones. Her friend Clara, black girl with short dark hair, and the most biggest, shiny and incredible smile on her face when she sees Karen. She has stylish-punk clothes, that doesn't rhyme with the energy she sparkles out.
They see each other, Clara comes to her, joyful, and give a high-five to Karen. “That's my girl !” Says Clara with all the enthusiasm of the world. “Please save me, boredom was just there, cheating for our class and saving any make-up gossip she could take from me”.
Clara laughs, and starts an impression of the boring girl; “Hey ! That's me, Boredomia. I have nothing to do in an university. Studying ? Leave that for geeks. I'm just here to make my dad feel good about myself, and I don't care about the tests, daddy will pay me a big shiny flat whether or not I pass the test.” They both laugh.
Karen invites her to sit, telling her to stop before she starts confusing her for the boring girl. “I'm a good actress though !” affirms Clara, before sitting next to Karen. She pulls out of her bag two cigarettes, she gives one to Karen and put the other one between her lips. And lights Karen's cigarette before lighting up her own. She starts talking about a common friend that they have named Tyler.
He's in Clara's class next to the medical school, in the technology development. Apparently, he seems to be interested for being friend with both of them, especially Karen.
His intentions aren't really precise for the two girls, so they talk about his website, that relate UFOs sightings and conspiracy theories from all around the world.
This morning, Clara says she talked with him, and that he has plans to go see a possible unknown object that felt from the sky, and has been seen late last night as a glowing light. Karen, doesn't believe such things. But Tyler seems to be wanting her to believe. He already took her on a trip weeks ago to see UFOs that never appeared.
“I still don't want to go someplace, wait for nothing to happen, leaving me and him like two dumb peeps who has nothing to say to each other, and he'll be like 'I was sure it was about to appear' and I'll be like 'duh ! That's what happens when you believe random things on the internet'!”. Is Karen's sarcastic way to say she doesn't want to go on sighting places anymore. But according to Clara, Tyler is about to go where the light appeared last night, and plan to bring Karen with him.
Thinking out loud, Clara comes to a conclusion;
“Maybe he doesn't believe all of this. Maybe he makes us think that, so that he can make you go out with him !”.
“So why not simply ask me out ?” Karen asks.
“'Cause he's afraid of dates ?” Suggest Clara.
3.
Roof of the university. Tyler, young man in his twenties, short bright-brown hair, slightly overweighted, is staring straight into the sky. He has binoculars in which he look through, and is searching for something he must've seen.
Sure to have seen something, he puts the binoculars down, but continues to look at the sky.
Around the roof, there's a small wall in which Tyler put his stuff onto; a school bag, a video-camera, some food and drinks. He sits on this very wall, and drink a soda. “I'm sure you were there.” he says to himself, with a dark look at the sky.
The sound of an opening door is heard, he turns his head, and see both Clara and Karen coming his way. He's surprised, and stands up directly, keeping the girls on sight, waving them.
“Any UFOs yet?” asks Clara.
Tyler, still surprised shout : “if you see one, you tell me !” as he says thinking it'll be badass.
But, as he read the room, he thinks back to what he was doing thirty seconds ago, and reply “Well I saw something earlier, could have been a drone, definitely not a plane, but I can't find it anymore, I just lost it.”
Lost it, just like the nerve he lost when the girls came to him.
Karen, comfortably sits on the wall besides Tyler's stuff.
Clara talks about the light he talked about this morning. Tyler says his conspiracy-theory-buddy named Gary, saw it, recorded it and send it to him. Says that he planned to go find any proof from where the light was seen. Karen make him understand that she wants to go with him.
Tyler, once again surprised, asks her if she's really into it now.
“Not really, but everyone is babbling over and over about UFOs and all those kind of things, and you know I think it's superstition, but I'd like somebody to prove me wrong.”
Tyler, ready to go, suggests them to go now, but Clara finds a polite but mere explanation to refuse the proposition. “I got some work to do, but I know Mulder and Scully didn't need any help to investigate... extraterrestrial artifacts ?” She says to slightly mock them and leave them two on their own, as she goes to the exit door.
Tyler looks at Karen, but not too long, so he doesn't have to admit he's interested in her, for some kind of “getting under the sheets purposes”. So he sits on the wall next to Karen, without forgetting to leave some distance between him and her, so this doesn't get awkward. Even though it's already awkward.
Tyler opens the conversation by asking her why she's still interested in doing proof researching since the last time was a dead-end track.
“Anything to keep me out of this high-school drama society, I'd rather be in the nature, pretending to search for aliens. Because I think like, so many people out there, that they're too far up in space to reach us, and even if they did, they would travel thousand of light years, just to visit our small, unevolved planet of the stupidiest species in the universe that kills itself for no good reason.”
She realize she maybe went too far telling that to the full-conspirationist with whom she plan to spend the day with.
But he's more open-minded than she thinks. So he says to her;
“What we see, or believe seeing isn't necessarily aliens we think of first. It's something we want so much, that our minds accords themselves to believe this is aliens we're seeing in those lights in the sky. We also want to believe governments of the world are hiding alien presence on Earth to protect us from a truth we won't bear knowing. And everyday, we're seeing things we can't explain, things our leaders would shut their mouths about, so we're searching proof, of anything. Anywhere. And when you'll see something from your very eyes, I believe you'll think differently.”

4.
Outside the university, Tyler and Karen are joining a gyrobus stop, where other students are waiting. The gyrobus is a gyroscopic transport; a single-railed land vehicle that travels between the cars on the road, and can be elevated when needed. Really large, it can carry 150 to 200 people in a single vehicle. Even though the vehicle is automatic, one driver is assigned at the top of each gyrobuses to prevent any danger or issue that can appear on the road. It has replaced all public transports as we know it, buses, tramways, metros and trains.
A gyrobus comes to the stop, goes down at the level of the sidewalk, the door opens with an automatic system. Some people inside get off the gyrobus, and the ones outside, all comes in. Inside, it's two rows of four chairs with an alley in the middle, looks like a church. Tyler and Karen sit side by side, so as the rest of the people. No one speaks during the ride, most of them keep their eyes on their phones.
Phones that are more evolved, sophisticated and more advanced than now; when the user clicks on an article, a story or a tweet, the phone uses an hologram system that shows at the top of the phone, in direction of the user's eyes.
Tyler too is interacting on his phone, checking comments and articles on his website called “Secured Team”. While writing, he says to Karen that he sent to his friend Gary, an invitation to search proofs.
Karen only replies “okay”, but thinks to herself “Great, another conspirationist to join the crew ! Wait, can we say conspirationist or am I just mistaken ?” While Karen overthinks, the gyrobus exits the main city, to go through the suburbs. Less cars, it goes faster, but on the inside nothing changes, it keeps stability at its higher rate.
5.
The gyrobus arrives at the edge of the city. And stops at its final stop. Tyler and Karen are going into a little-sized coffee shop stand. Like a hot-dog stand only bigger, with some kind of a bar, and an automated robot for servicing. The robot has an old-fashioned look, big, with roundy forms and perfect circled-eyes with bright yellow lights coming out of it.
As Tyler asks for coffee, Karen goes by the side of the stand, where there's a little screen that projects news that's repeating itselves without interruption. The news talks about scientists working on a new kind of androids. They say they'll look like humans, talk like humans, and will have programs that will help them learn from humans. They'll work for people just as automated robots are doing.
Karen isn't too fond of this kind of projects. She thinks that “To make humans more numb than they're already are, isn't a way to progress. They'll replace us at teaching, leading, running our very institutions, they'll even replace us at running olympics !”
Tyler comes right next to her, interrupting her in her thoughts, she almost freaks out. He looks at the commercial, and says that he's working on projects that concerns androids. Apparently, in his class, they're making tiny dog-androids, reacting when you pet them, barking when loud noises resonates. He says that they only miss skin and fur to make them almost more real than dogs. Karen feels disgusted with the idea of pet-androids, like all the odds for the future were against nature itself.
A car arrives by the side of the road, parking on the sidewalk. An old, scratchy car that probably comes from the early 21st century. Tyler sees the car and recognize his friend Gary that doesn't even stop the engine. Karen, take a glimpse at Gary and finds herself surprised to see a 50 year-old guy, with a cap on his head, as a UFO hunter. She looks at the car and there's a lot of stuff at the back of it. Some things that have nothing to do in a car, he seems to travel with these old pieces of junk everytime he goes to a place or another. His car is a real mess, not even clean. But that is not a problem for him, it's not something you care about, as long as your car drives you somewhere, as he like to think. And that's Gary, not bothered by anything. Except by lights in the sky.
Tyler goes to the passenger door, to salute Gary who's saying he doesn't have much place because he didn't expect to have Karen. He invites her to sit at the back, so she pushes the junk on one side, making fall some objects to the car floor. Tyler sits at the passenger sit, and Gary start off immediately out of the sidewalk, and drives out of the city.
6.
Out in the countryland, they drive through meadows and forests. They stop at a forest entrance, where they walk into.
Gary explains what he thought he had seen last night. Says that he saw it the first time with his own eyes, and it disappeared. The second time, it re-appeared when he started to record it, “the light moved in unexplicable ways, that no ordinary human object could do.” He says being certain that it's an alien spaceship. He's not certain about what it has left behind it. But he's eager to find out anything. Tyler believe him, and take his words for good. Karen, doesn't want to believe, she listens, but always find a way for an excuse, make theories, and keep thinking that there's an explanation for everything. An alien spaceship isn't one of them.
So they all keep walking in the forest, with the weight of thoughts and expectations. Sun's shining through the trees, rays of light shines on the three of them. An unexpected journey that's beginning for them, and they don't even know it. Because the universe is waiting for one thing, someone to set free people from all the barriers and boudaries of the world. Waiting for a person of love to breakthrough a world of fear and hate. Someone who realizes the mistakes that has been made, and who'll be there to fix 'em before we can wish he'd be here. Close to us, far in his head, brokenhearted, compassionnate. Man, prophet, leader ? No. Just one name; Connor.
As they walk, Karen take a glimpse on her side, and sees a man lying on the ground between the trees. While the two others are blindly walking through the forest, Karen slightly warn them about something she's just saw. She almost runs to get at the lying man. Crouched besides him, to reach his neck and checking his pulse, Karen finds he's breathing. He has bruises all over his face like he had an accident. The man must be by his thirties, half-long brown hair, unshaven and a little blood coming out of his mouth.
“Is he okay ?” are the first words Karen hears behind her, spoken by Tyler, standing tall behind her like an unbreakable statue. “Yes, he's unconscious but breathing at least. He must have fall onto something to hurt himself that bad.”
“Yeah, or maybe that's the worst forest hangover of all time !” says Gary, while lifting a bottle of liquor, he just found on the floor.
Tyler notice a blue liquid inside the bottle; “You sure that's booze ? Something's blue inside !” They look at the label, and it's written “Blue Scotch”.
Gary tastes the few drops of the blue liquid left inside. “Definitely booze, but weird dying alcohol like that...” Says Gary.
Karen looks back at the lying man, “What happened to you ?”.
And with these words, the man instantly opens his eyes, and puts his hands around Karen's shoulders, and while staring into her eyes asks ; “Where's my car ?”.
“Your car ?” repeat Karen with eyes of one who fears for her very life.
“Yes, I lost my car... I gotta find it...” he says before running in front of Tyler, look into his eyes and asks again “Where's my car ?”.
“I don't know where your car is...” respond Tyler with the innocence of a baby-born.
The man yells and clears his throat, “It's big, grey, it's a big grey car !” and directly falls to the ground. Both Karen and Tyler goes by his side to raise him and make him sit. “I gotta sober out of this” he hardly says, with the voice of a drunk man. Karen asks him his name, and by the time he says “Connor Newl...” he almost faint.
But Karen slaps him, and he opens his eyes again.
“Help me sober out...” he demands. Karen says to him that he has to rest, because he's too drunk to sober out. Tending the bottle of booze, Gary asks him if that's what he's been drinking,
“No shit Sherlock ! But no... Important, got to find my... caaaar... and fuckin' sober out of this !!!” he shouts to them.
Karen punches him hard enough to make him fall again. And with this, he stands up by himself, and says;
“That ought to do it”.
Sober enough, Connor excuse himself, and suddenly asks what year is it. Obviously confused, they ask what it's about, but Connor seems to avoid why he's asking, and demand once again what year is this.
They say 2056, and Connor loses it. He fears being arrested, and his car being taken away.
That is just too weird to be real, for our three characters. Gary and Tyler sense something extraordinary coming, for their beliefs to be true. Karen saw a look between those two, that tells everything about their thoughts. A thrill they share because of years of believing something that exceed us.
At this precise moment, a bell rang into Karen's heart. An unknown feeling that came to her, the thrill of discovery, the thrill of the strange.
“Okay so strangers, will you help me find my car before I get arrested ?” Connor gently asks. Gary and Tyler seems very interested to help him since he asked about the year they're in. Connor stays mysterious for the others, he's full of energy, but probably insane. And Karen has doubts about him. Why would he ask which year it is, since nobody ever asks that kind of question. 'He seems delusional, but I wanna know something if what he says is true' she thinks. The two other guys seem to believe him, and show that they want to go with him.
Finally, Karen accept to follow him, she's really curious about this Connor.
“Finding the car, and I'll explain the rest on the road...” says Connor while walking to another way. The guys follow him, and Karen, still confused about this, walks behind them.

7.
A valley of green fields and pastures. They all walk through, Connor leads, the two guys behind him, and Karen that follows them.
Suddenly she fastly walk past the guys
and goes besides Connor.
“I'm Karen by the way !” she says. Connor reply
“Yes ! Eight minutes since we started walking, and you finally say something !”
He looks at the guys behind him; “Not like them two who are silent like priests in a pussy wagon !”. Makes Karen smiles.
“But I'm glad you're open for a conversation...”
he says before getting interrupted by Karen that says “Actually I want answers. We walk, we agreed to help you and you don't say a thing. You should have talked to us like tell us who you are.”
Connor seems troubled to answer. He thinks.
Tyler intervene;
“That's true, why won't you say anything ? We are UFO hunters, and have seen a light last night, we're now investigating. D'ya now anything about that ?”
Connor stops and turns to Tyler;
“That's ridiculous, you see a light in the sky and directly admit that's a UFO ? And why would you wait the next day to investigate ?”
Tyler, nervously respond :
“Well, first of all, a UFO isn't necessarily, an alien spaceship, could be the government, second of all, I personnaly saw the sighting this morning, and had to wait to find people to come along with me, and last but not least, who are you to tell us that we're doing our job wrong ?”
Connor promptly answer “Because I... am the alien.”
Agape, they're not saying a thing.
“Look at you, shitting in your pants ! I'm not an alien ! Do I look like an alien ?... Well no ! Of course I'm not an alien, I'm just kidding with you !”
He finally says all confusing them.
Gary says ; “That's not funny, we never seen aliens for real, and you could have been one of those reptilian guys, we wouldn't know !”.
Sarcastically, Connor respond;
“You know reptilians are only politicians, right ?... Kidding again ! They actually live on Mars ! And I'm definitely not an alien, but that's probably my car you saw last night so I think I'm pretty lucky to have fallen onto you, since you're used to hunt my kind of car !”
Karen asks :
“What do you mean ? Your car is a UFO ?”
“Well no, she's a car.”
“She's a she ?”
“A car is always a she. And she's a she. She's an Agarthean spaceship. She's a...”
Tyler immediately reacts :
“SPACESHIP ?!”
“I was gonna say space-she but yes she is !”
With these words, Connor knows they're unaware of such things. But he's hiding something from them, something he doesn't need to reveal at this point. Even if his intentions are obscured for the others, he speaks with true words, knowing they don't completely understand. He wants to show them, instead of telling them.
“Listen guys, I know that's beginning to be a lot of information for you. But if you don't ask too many questions, you'll discover things with your own eyes. True things that no one is revealing you on Earth. And maybe it seems unbelievable, and out of nowhere, but trust me, I'll lead you through the universe and be someone great. So for now, since i'm pretty hangovered, I'm just asking you to follow me without arguments or questions, or things that I have to explain.”
And they kept going despite the many questions that came to their minds. Connor was ahead of them; like he knew which way to go.
Karen started to walk besides him, just as she believed the words he'd spoke.
“Once we get to your car, what are you supposed to do with us ?” she asks him.
“Here it is, first question of many ! Don't you want some mystery ?”
“Well, since we don't know you, maybe I'm becoming to fear for my life, whether or not I believe you. And you could be a serial-killer as far as I know.”
“I see, but everything that comes from my mouth, will not necessarily be something you'll believe. That's why I gave this little speech earlier, 'cause I know how it works with people. Trust me, I've had this before, I'ts best if I show you for real, than tell you with words. Words aren't everything.”
“I feel like I need to believe you. You seem like a truth-teller. A rare kind of person today.”
Connor smiles.
Behind, the two guys are suspicious about Connor. Tyler distrust him as expected. Jealous about Karen feeling more trustful with Connor than himself. A stranger comes on the road, and chit-chat with the only girl in the group, making Tyler feeling alone, apart from the main situation. That's Tyler reaction on the inside. On the outside, he's trying to stay calm, but he's nervous to have his feelings revealed to others.
On the other side, Gary is just suspicious about Connor. He believed the light he saw. Not the man he saw talking to him.
Connor has sensed it since he saw them. Negative waves that comes out of them; whether when they're talking or looking, something's gloomy about them. Despite of that, Connor trust them. He trusts like no other human could in a situation like that. He knows how people reacts according to their behaviour. He knows how they'll believe him when they'll find their destination, his trustfulness never let him down. That's what Karen is seeing in Connor. A trustful person, with high hopes and dreams. Someone that shines at the eyes of the wisest of the world.
When Karen looks at Connor, she sees a bright light inside him, that reminds her of a friend she lost years ago. A shiny person with great expectations of life and experiences, that glows into other's hearts.
She like to think of those people, as “living stars”.
People capable of putting someone's misery into trash, and make 'em smile again. Make 'em know your alive for a good reason.
That is why Karen believe him with heart and soul.
And she was right to do so.
A flying saucer is crashed onto a field. Big, grey, and shaped like an old classic flying saucer. But it's broken, jagged on all sides.
Connor, almost at tears;
“Poor thing, on the ground, all torned apart !”.
The others are speechless. Seeing an actual spaceship, more real than anything they ever saw in their lives.
Connor goes by the spaceship, at the back of it, he opens some kind of hood, that releases a lot of smoke going up to the sky.
Behind the hood there's an engine, working with a combustion chamber, just as a car engines work.
The three others are getting closer to the ship to admire it. Tyler comes close to Connor.
“So you weren't lying, this is real...”
“Of course, I never lie. But right now I'd like to repair this freaking engine, 'cause we didn't move closer to my objective...”
Karen intervene
“We did find your car though.”
Tyler retorts
“That's nothing like a car !”
Connor pushes Tyler in the front of the engine and say :
“Look at this and tell me that doesn't look like anything that you have on a regular car.”
Tyler takes a look at the engine ;
“Shit, that's a regular engine ! How does it even work ? It has a combustion chamber, what kind of fuel do you use ?”
“Some Vril and it's good to go.” Connor says.
“Vril ?”asks Tyler.
“What ?... Oh yes ! You don't know it yet ! Right, sorry, it's some kind of energy, that we use to... well mainly to run spaceships. But you didn't knew that it existed ?”
“Obviously not.”
“Okay, well soon you'll know what it's about. But right now we gotta fix the car, and quickly 'cause you know how the government can be about our objects that they want so much.”
Karen, admiringly looking at the ship, asks Connor;
“Can we get in ?”
He immediately responds;
“Repairing, then we can go in ! So we'll need to generate a nuclear fusion until we find some vril. And mostly, we need some parts, that here seems to be broken.”
“Mostly ? You forgot about the part where we're supposed to make a nuclear fusion, how are we gonna do that ?” Tyler asks him.
“I don't know, it's your timeline after all, didn't they teach you that in school ?”
“Well, they taught me what it was made of, but not to manufacture an actual bomb ! And again, what about our timeline ?”
“Good point, we'll try with fuel, this may work. And... someone make a list, Gary !”
Gary immediately turns his head to Connor, with the eyes of a new born child, subjugated by the architecture of the spaceship.
“You are in the mission of bringing parts to repair the spaceship. Write down, what I'll tell you okay ?”
“Yeah, yes.” he responds all lost.
“So, five or six pistons. A connecting rod, a crankshaft, and maybe 5 or 6 gallons of fuel, hoping that it'll be enough. So you good ?”
“Yeah, but why me ?”
“Because you have the car, idiot !”
Gary, all obedient, practically runs in direction of the forest to go fetch the missing parts of the spaceship.
Then Connor asks Tyler and Karen;
“Is he really your friend ? 'cause he seems out of nowhere !”.
Tyler says :
“Well, he's not really a friend, but just someone I know well enough !”.
Karen says :
“You've got to understand the guy, first time in his life he sees a real UFO, crashed on the ground. I guess he's a little bit outraged since a human has it and not something else.”
“I'm outraged too, only thing is, i'm still curious about where it comes from...” Respond Tyler.
Connor looks at them waiting for them to say something else.
Karen stares at Connor, to make him understand that this is the moment where he should talk about him, and reveal things he just talk about on the way here.
“Why you looking at me like that ?” he say to her.
She imediately reply :
“Well, now that our common friend just got out fetching parts of the freaking spaceship that's crashed over there, and we have nothing to do except talk, maybe it's time you start talking about yourself and give us answers !”
In a lapse of reason, Connor thinks that he's been weird and awckward, for the low self-esteem person that he is.
“Yeah, alright. Of course, you absolutely deserve it, and..”
The sound of a buzzing object comes right out of nowhere. He's starting to feel dizzy, puts his hand on his neck, and pull out of it a tiny-teeny dart, leaving a dot of blood on his neck.
“Oh shit, we're...” and he falls directly onto the ground.
Tyler asks
“What happened to him ?”
Karen reply :
“He's faking, he's obviously gaining time to...”
Suddenly, a dozen of military jeeps, comes out of the forest, encircling the spaceship, and park. Two dozen of militaries with deadly weapons, comes right in front of Karen and Tyler.
The both of them are afraid and uncapable to react in a situation such as this one.
For Karen, seeing the unconscious and lying body of Connor on the ground, being circled by the army, was one of the hardest thing she's ever got to see.
Because that meant something more than just a man on the ground. She was unaware of anything in the universe. Even on a little scale.
Seeing the only man that seemed to be trustful enough to know he knew a lot about the universe and its secrets being held by the army, was an horrifying sight.
Tyler was just shitting his pants.
